War Ledger Tournament — Official Rules

  1. Sponsor. Earn Your Edge LLC, 4030 Wake Forest Road, STE 349, Raleigh, NC 27609, operating Trade Legacy: War Ledger (the “Sponsor”). The prize is funded entirely by the Sponsor. There is no entry fee. No plan purchase or subscription is required to enter or win, and none will increase your chance of winning. The US$5.99 monthly connection and maintenance fee described in the Terms of Service applies to every connected account on every plan, whether or not that account competes; it is not an entry fee, and no part of it funds a prize.
  2. Eligibility. Open to War Ledger players 18 or older with a connected live trading account — MetaTrader or a supported brokerage — except where prohibited by law. You must hold Bronze rank or higher on the War Ledger ladder when you register. Demo accounts are not eligible. Void where prohibited. The Sponsor may exclude specific jurisdictions, listed on this page before registration opens.
  3. The event. The War Ledger Tournament is a separate match from the Ranked Week. It runs 4 weeks (Day 1 to Day 28, Eastern time). Entry is free and by registration. Entering does not change your Ranked Week seat.
  4. Scoring. Every trade closed on your entered live account during the tournament is scored by the War Ledger scoring system, whose method is confidential and applied identically to every player. Your tournament score is the running total across the event. The board is recalculated daily; every entrant is on one board, with no pits or brackets, and every tier competes together.
  5. Cuts. At the end of week 1, week 2 and week 3 (Day 7, 14 and 21, end of day Eastern), the entrants ranked in the bottom 21% of the board at that moment are cut. The number cut is 21% of the entrants remaining, rounded to the nearest whole player; when it falls exactly on a half, it rounds down, so the player on the line stays (for example: 10 entrants → 2 cut, 12 → 3, 50 → 10, 51 → 11). Players tied at the cut line all stay. Week 4 is not cut — everyone still in plays it out. A cut player keeps every SR they earned.
  6. Prize. The entrant ranked 1st on the final board at the end of Day 28 wins $1,000 USD. If two or more are tied for first, the prize is split equally between them. Every entrant receives Pro free from registration until they are cut or the tournament ends.
  7. Verification and payment. The award is reviewed for eligibility and fair play before payment. When you win, a Prize verification button unlocks on your War Ledger profile — it stays locked for everyone else. The winner submits it to complete a payout profile, confirm age and residence, and provide required tax documentation (Form W-9 for U.S. persons). Payment within 30 days of approval. An award not claimed within 90 days is forfeited. Prizes may be reported to tax authorities as required.
  8. Fair play. One live account per person. Mirrored or coordinated accounts, borrowed accounts, or manipulation of grades forfeit the award and may result in removal from the ladder and the tournament.
  9. No advice. War Ledger is a skill ladder. Nothing on the platform is investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Other players' entries are shown for competition only; following them is entirely at your own risk. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
  10. Changes. These rules are fixed once registration opens. Changes apply to future tournaments only.
  11. Disputes. Governed by the Terms of Service, including its governing-law and disputes section (Section 16).
