Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and Earn Your Edge LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company with its registered address at 4030 Wake Forest Road, STE 349, Raleigh, NC 27609, USA (“we”, “us”), governing your use of Trade Legacy: War Ledger at tradelegacy.trade and related services (the “Service”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, able to form a binding contract, and not barred from using the Service under applicable law. You may hold one War Ledger account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.

3. What the Service is

• A competition, not a broker. War Ledger reads trades you have already placed at your own broker and scores them. We do not execute, route, recommend or manage trades, hold customer funds or securities, or act as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading adviser or introducing broker.
• Read-only. You connect a MetaTrader 4/5 account using only its server, login and investor (read-only) password, or a supported brokerage through SnapTrade’s connection portal. You must never give us a password that can trade.
• Rank is earned. Scores, letter grades, Skill Rating and rank are computed by our proprietary scoring engine from risk-adjusted performance of closed trades. Rank cannot be bought, and no purchase affects scoring, matchmaking or prize eligibility. There are no seasons or resets.
• Demo and live are separate. Demo accounts compete on a separate ladder, are capped at the Champion tier and are not eligible for cash bounties.

4. Your broker account

You represent that every account you connect is yours (or you are expressly authorised by its owner), that you have the right to grant us read-only access, and that doing so does not breach your broker’s terms. You are solely responsible for your broker relationship, your trading and all resulting gains and losses. You may disconnect an account at any time; disconnecting forfeits any match in progress.

5. Fair play

The ladder only works if it is honest. You agree not to:

• Operate more than one account, or connect the same broker account to more than one War Ledger account.
• Connect demo, simulated or contest accounts as live, or misrepresent an account’s ownership, broker or type.
• Coordinate trades with other players, wash-trade, hedge across accounts, or otherwise manipulate scores, matches or standings.
• Interfere with the scoring server, MetaTrader bridge, SnapTrade connection or any other part of the Service, or attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring formula.
• Use bots, scrapers or automated means to access the Service other than the trading you do at your own broker.
• Harass, threaten or defame other players, or post unlawful, infringing or misleading content.

We may investigate suspected violations, void scores or matches, withhold or reclaim bounties, and suspend or terminate accounts. Scoring and enforcement decisions are made in our reasonable discretion and are final.

6. Cash bounties

From time to time we fund cash bounties for ranked play. Entry is free; no purchase is necessary or improves your chances. Each bounty is governed by its published Official Rules, which are frozen when the week opens and control over these Terms if they conflict. Awards are reviewed by a human before payment, require a completed payout profile and any legally required tax forms, and are paid only to the account holder. You are responsible for any taxes on winnings. Bounties are void where prohibited.

7. Optional paid features

Some cosmetic or convenience features may be offered for a fee, billed through Stripe. Paid features never change rank, scoring, matchmaking or prize eligibility. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

8. Not investment advice

Everything on the Service — scores, grades, ranks, standings, other players’ entries, charts, commentary — is provided for competition and informational purposes only. It is not, and must not be relied on as, investment, financial, trading, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. 9. Your content

You keep ownership of content you post. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it as part of operating and promoting the Service, and to display your display name, rank and match results on public ladders. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the scoring engine, ranking system, software, design, logos, the names “Trade Legacy” and “War Ledger”, and all content we create, is owned by Earn Your Edge LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it except as the Service expressly allows.

11. Third-party services

Broker connections rely on your broker, MetaQuotes MetaTrader software and SnapTrade, each under its own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or conduct. Delays or gaps in data from a broker may affect when trades are scored; where a match is affected we will apply the published settlement rules.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that scores will be error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that any rank, grade or standing reflects future trading results.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EARN YOUR EDGE LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Earn Your Edge LLC against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your trading, your broker accounts, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, suspected cheating, legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 5, 6, 8 and 10–17 survive termination.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim you agree to contact us at trade.legacy.eye@gmail.com and try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days. Any dispute not resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new “last updated” date and, for material changes, give notice by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
